Answer to Question: 11016 History And Culture
This essay summarily examines the consequences of two of Europe’s great wars on Europe’s political scene.
In this instance, we will discuss the impact of World War II.
The political concept of Russian intervention and German invasion had major consequences upon the end of World War II.
Europe was divided in two major forces, the Nazis or the Communists in Soviet Union.
The Nazi invasion of Soviet Union in 1941 severely disrupted Soviet society.
The War’s movement saw the positive effects of the English alliance with Stalin (the Soviet Union’s former autocratic leader).
The War between the countries was not as straightforward as it appeared.
The War situation only got worse because of the constant push by the German soldiers to join the Soviet Union.
It is clear that the major factor in the conflict was due to the fundamental differences between Stalin’s Socialist party policies and those of the Nazis.
It was entirely due to England and other capitalist sources intervening in the matter between these two massive forces of World War II (Merriam (2017).
The book discusses the conflicting energy between these two great forces.
In reality, the fundamental concept of the actual political scenario was hegemonic in terms its political dominance.
The problem lay in the fact the soviet alliance was supported strongly by the United States, even though they were ideologically distinct.
England and the United States, which were the capitalist giants in the world, helped to corner the German forces.
But, both the economic and trade interests of the capitalist couple in a communist nation such as the Soviet Union were nullified by the end the World War.
After the fall in communism in Russia, the documentary ‘WWII: Stalin, Nazis and West’ was made.
This documentary was made in 2008 and shows the secret meeting between capitalist forces (Press, 2017).
The documentary discusses Katyn forest Massacre. Churchill also agreed to this issue in order for the war to be over.
The United States was able to complete the understanding of the conflict in the pact.
Even though the treaty provided for non-aggression between Nazi Germany (and the Soviet Union), it was immediately broken by German forces to seize control of the country’s oil fields.
The movie also dealt with issues such the one of Kresy Wischodnie or the relocation of the Polish population in the war years.
The apparent historical book does not contain any information about the events and politics that took place from the back of the stage.
The documentary has helped me to understand the real concept of these cases. It was difficult to reconcile the original concept with the one that had been under political scrutiny for many years.
It has been analyzed in detail the political vehemence during the forced settlement.
It has been possible to finely document the intricate political game played in the Soviet Union by Churchill and Stalin (Hager, 2017).
The fact is that the basic understandings of the conflict between the countries and the game of power has been a stimulating factor for those who wish to have a firm grasp of the actuality.
Finding faults in the documentary is a way to break the sensitivity to the actual concept that was covered during class.
The basic concept of England’s relationship with the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany can actually be stated.
The documentary was in a way a reflection both of Stalin’s and Churchills foreign strategies.
However, the video presentation was almost a thriller.
Laurence Rees is a common writer who has created a concept for historical discourses about the Wars.
The documentary has been dramatic and more than academic.
The documentary began with a superficial introduction that didn’t address the core issues.
The Telegraph published an article that clearly stated that both the concept of moral warfare (and the conflict between it and Nazism) have been raising fundamentalist questions.
The author’s belief that morale was important in World War II is shown. The director also took good care of the one-sided depiction of war philosophy.
It was straightforward narration, without going into detail about the diplomacy that took place within.Reference:Booth, O., & Walton, J. (2015).
