“University tuition fees in England will increase to PS9,250 annually starting in 2017, and this could apply to students already enrolled in courses.
This inflation-linked hike represents a 2.8% increase, and if it continues, fees could rise above PS10,000 over several years.
Under consumer protection rules, universities must disclose the PS9250 fee to applicants before September begins.
Until this limit is changed by Parliament however, universities can’t charge higher than PS9,000.

Any university that has a’meets expectations’ rating can increase its fees by 2.8%. This is not about teaching.
Let’s talk about the source of money universities receive, and not pretend it is an exchange for teaching quality.
