Answer to Question: PSM510 Problem Analysis And Statistics
Certain factors must be considered when setting up a chain or coaching centers.
These factors play a major role in the success of these centers.
This is not all that the investors need to consider when making their investment decisions.
These factors should be considered when setting up the chain of coaching centres in Victoria.
To set up coaching centers in two of the States of Victoria for students aged 7-12 years, so they can get good marks on year 12 exams.
There are three main factors that must be considered when setting up a coaching center chain: Children in the 7-12 age range. Parents or guardians have enough money to cover the coaching fees. Enough adults who are likely to have children in this age group. Enough schools in the designated government areas of Victoria.
Two of Australia’s Local Government Areas are required to determine the location of the coaching colleges.
The State must have two Local Government Areas.
This is why two local government areas in the State of Victoria have been chosen based upon the fulfilled criteria.
These are the names of these two Local Governance Areas: City Of Port Phillip and City of Monash
In City of Port Phillip the percentage of primary school-going children has increased 31% since 2006.
Secondary school enrollments have increased by 14%.
This shows that the coaching college network has a high chance of success.
These parents or guardians may also have limited financial resources, making it difficult to afford the coaching classes.
According to the 2011 census 37.2% (7-12 years old) are under the households with $400-$600 per Week income.
According to 2017 Vic.gov.au, guardians or parents must have sufficient financial resources to cover their children’s coaching classes.
Monash is one the largest Local Government Areas of Victoria, with a high number of children from 7 to 12.
There were 16,863 children in the 7-12 age range who enrolled in secondary schools between 2015 and 2016.
The statement shows that there are many opportunities for business in Monash’s coaching college network (profile.id.com.au 2017.).
This is not the only reason why the city has so many schools.
Comparing 2006 to 2011, the number of secondary schools within the City of Monash increased to 10,062.
There has been a 6.3% increase in shares (monash.vic.gov.au), 2017.
Conclusion
It can be seen from the discussion that both Monash and Port Phillip are equipped to run a coaching school.
The number and growth of students from 7 to 12 years of age is impressive.
In addition to this, parents and guardians have the financial ability to afford the coaching college their children attend.
The conclusion is that it would be profitable for the coach college business to be located in Port Phillip and Monash of Victoria’s Local Government Areas.
